Maintenance Officer - Faisalabad

The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive physical field support across assigned stores to ensure all facility equipment operates at optimal levels. This role serves as the primary technical responder, maintaining brand standards, food safety requirements, and overall store functionality. The officer will focus on preventive maintenance, timely resolution of equipment issues, and compliance with audit benchmarks to guarantee uninterrupted store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Field Operations & Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct 100% monthly preventive maintenance for all equipment, with particular attention to heating and cooling assets such as ovens, heat racks, geysers, air conditioning units, chillers, and makelines.

Critical Temperature Benchmarks:
- Maintain walk-in chillers and makelines strictly between 0°C and 4°C.
- Ensure hot water availability at a minimum temperature of 50°C.
- Keep lobby and kitchen temperatures below 26°C by maintaining AC units.

NSF Audit Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with all maintenance-related criteria in the NSF audit checklist, including hygiene, structural integrity, and equipment calibration.

Showstopper Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain zero downtime for critical equipment such as generators, ovens, makelines, chillers, water pumps, and geysers.

External Vendor Management:
Define the scope of work for external vendors and supervise on-site execution to ensure technical quality. Obtain signed branch acknowledgments upon successful completion of tasks.

Minor Complaint Resolution:
Address minor maintenance complaints immediately using petty cash, ensuring timely submission of original bills with branch acknowledgment.

Asset Care:
Perform routine physical maintenance and polishing of all equipment and facilities to uphold operational standards.

Operational Reporting & Coordination:
- Coordinate all tasks and operational reporting exclusively with the Regional Supervisor.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Coordinator for training and development activities via the Wooqer system.
- Log daily physical tasks, preventive maintenance completion, and equipment health checks through the Wooqer CMS platform.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum education level of Matriculation or Intermediate. Certification in HVAC systems, electrical safety, or facilities management is preferred.
- Familiarity with Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) equipment such as ovens, chillers, dough mixers, and HVAC systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, spare parts planning, and energy management practices.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance operations within QSR, hospitality, or retail chain environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple store locations, coordinate field technicians, and liaise with vendors.
- Experience handling AMC contracts, food safety audits, compliance documentation, and procurement processes.
- Competence in reading and interpreting technical manuals, equipment drawings, and maintenance logs.
