Mondelēz International is seeking a highly skilled technical expert to join our manufacturing team and lead the planning, development, and implementation of Planned Maintenance elements within a Continuous Improvement environment. This role requires deep technical mastery of processes and equipment, managing diverse teams including technical and non-technical personnel, contractors, and operations staff. You will play a critical role in ensuring process stability and driving maintenance excellence to support our mission of leading the future of snacking.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with line leaders to achieve SQCDSM targets—Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale—ensuring process stability and participating in Daily Management System (DMS) meetings at shift and line levels.
- Own the technology, process, and centerline settings for equipment, maintaining deep technical expertise. Manage Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems, work processes, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the line, as well as the Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) budget.
- Develop, implement, and oversee preventive and time-based maintenance plans. Spend at least 50% of your time building the technical and maintenance capabilities of shift technicians, enabling them to operate and maintain equipment independently.
- Lead and own all PM systems and work processes at the line level, contributing to department-level initiatives as part of the PM Pillar.
- Collaborate with the Asset and Reliability team to improve systems and execute special maintenance tasks. Manage change control on the line, localize spare parts, conduct breakdown analysis, and drive R&M cost reduction.
- Represent the department and line as the site technology owner in regional and global forums.
- Support the Validation and Start-Up (VSU) team for new initiatives and assist line leaders with internal and external benchmarking and reapplication.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in a component category and provide training on PM-related topics within the plant.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge and skills in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 and Progressive Maintenance (PM) Step 3, with the ability to independently maintain dedicated equipment at basic conditions.
- Proficiency in executing AM, PM, Breakdown Maintenance (BD), and TPM Phase 3 & 4 problem-solving tools.
- Capability to lead a role for the line, qualifying and coaching Standard Work Process (SWP) owners, and driving continuous improvement using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Adjust) methodology.
- Experience working as a Line Leader, including developing and aligning goals and master plans, managing Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and coaching team members on performance and career growth.
