Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kasur. The technician will be responsible for performing daily maintenance and repair tasks on industrial equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. This position requires diagnosing equipment malfunctions, carrying out preventive maintenance schedules, and responding promptly to breakdowns to reduce downtime. Additionally, the technician will document all maintenance activities, collaborate closely with production and engineering teams, and strictly adhere to safety and compliance standards. Maintaining organized tools and workspaces, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment are also key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and facility systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
- Execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and extend asset life.
- Respond swiftly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals and improvements.
- Follow all safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and comply with company policies.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and well-organized.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

Required Qualifications

- Proven skills in equipment maintenance and industrial maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in maintenance and repair tasks.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in an industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance documentation.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of PPE and adherence to safety regulations.
- Prior experience as a maintenance technician, fitter, or in a similar role within manufacturing or metal fabrication settings.
