Mak Creations is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its financial operations and ensure robust fiscal management within a production and manufacturing environment. The Finance Manager plays a critical role in driving strategic planning and optimizing financial performance to support the company's growth objectives.
The Finance Manager is responsible for cash flow management, internal controls, and performance management to safeguard the companys financial health. This position involves close collaboration with production teams to effectively manage working capital, monitor inventory valuations, and enhance cost accounting practices. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of financial modeling and variance analysis to improve decision-making processes at Mak Creations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and oversee budgeting and forecasting models to support strategic planning and operational needs.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure effective cash flow management, including cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and cash flow analysis.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor and manage inventory valuation, accounting, and control processes in coordination with production departments.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable to maintain strong financial controls and optimize payment cycles.
- Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing and variance analysis, to support pricing and profitability decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial management into operational planning and performance management.
- Coordinate and mentor a team of two finance professionals, providing guidance and facilitating their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards applicable to the manufacturing sector.
- Conduct financial modeling to evaluate business scenarios and support investment decisions.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
