Management Trainee Officer (MTO) - IT

The Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – IT is an entry-level role aimed at developing a talented individual to support, maintain, and optimize the SAP Production Planning (PP) modules. Working closely with senior IT and functional leaders, the MTO will serve as a vital link between business operations in finance and manufacturing and the technical SAP environment. This position offers hands-on experience in SAP configuration, system integration, testing, and troubleshooting, providing a strong foundation for a career in SAP and IT within a dynamic industrial group.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Module Support & Configuration: Assist in configuring and maintaining essential SAP PP components such as Work Centers, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing, and Production Orders to ensure smooth system operations.

System Integration & Testing: Support the integration of SAP PP with other modules including FICO (Finance and Controlling), MM (Materials Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution). Participate actively in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system patches, enhancements, and new rollouts.

Incident & Ticket Resolution: Provide first-level support by troubleshooting daily end-user issues related to SAP PP, logging support tickets, and conducting root-cause analysis to resolve operational errors efficiently.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flows, and user manuals. Assist in generating management information system (MIS) reports, dashboards, and data extractions tailored for finance and production teams.

Training & Continuous Learning: Engage in mandatory internal and external SAP training programs to build deep functional and technical expertise. Proactively identify process gaps and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s (Hons) or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines. Fresh graduates with academic projects, internships, or foundational training in SAP PP are encouraged to apply.

Experience

0 to 6 months of relevant experience. Candidates with academic exposure or internships related to SAP Production Planning will be given preference.
