Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing vendors, conducting comparisons, and evaluating supplier options to support procurement decisions.
- Support the preparation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Track order placements and delivery timelines, maintaining regular follow-ups with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain and update the supplier database and procurement records to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Coordinate with stores, production, and finance departments to confirm material availability and assist in demand forecasting and replenishment planning.
- Assist in cost analysis and price comparisons to support budgeting and cost control efforts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports to provide insights and updates on purchasing activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or related fields.
