Manager – Business Development & Projects

The Manager – Business Development & Projects will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth across corporate, residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors. This position requires managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, as well as overseeing project execution from initial client requirements through to handover and after-sales support. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams such as Design, Product, Finance, and Operations to ensure projects meet agreed scope, quality, cost, and timeline objectives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, developers, and corporate clients is essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities across diverse sectors including corporate, residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing leads through to successful conversion.
- Prepare and coordinate proposals, quotations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Manage projects comprehensively from understanding client requirements to execution, handover, and after-sales service.
- Ensure all projects adhere to agreed scope, quality standards, budget, and timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with Design, Product, Finance, and Operations teams to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders such as architects, interior designers, consultants, developers, and corporate clients.
- Monitor project financials including revenue, profit margins, receivables, and overall progress.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Project Sales, or Project Management.
- Proven expertise in B2B sales, negotiation, client relationship management, and commercial acumen.
- Strong track record in managing project-based sales and delivery processes.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within the furniture, interiors, construction, or related project-based industries is highly desirable.
