Manager Access Network Operations & Support

This role is responsible for leading the strategic and operational management of access network infrastructure, focusing on ensuring high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of data center and power systems. The position also manages energy resources, including fuel and electricity, as well as spare parts inventory to enhance operational efficiency, control costs, and maintain uninterrupted network services. The incumbent drives innovation, resource optimization, and aligns infrastructure operations with overall business objectives. Additionally, this role provides leadership to regional teams, promoting consistent application of standards and best practices in operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the strategic planning and execution of access network and data center operations to achieve organizational goals, ensuring service excellence through high availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee OPEX and CAPEX budgeting, including management of fuel and electricity consumption, to optimize energy use, control costs, and support infrastructure growth and modernization.
- Manage lifecycle planning for critical infrastructure, including developing business cases, procurement strategies, and finalizing contracts for upgrades and replacements.
- Ensure renewal and performance governance of all support agreements related to power and environmental infrastructure with OEMs and vendors.
- Conduct and supervise Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for major outages, implementing preventive actions and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and corporate policies.
- Champion process automation, digitalization, and knowledge management by regularly updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational playbooks.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the access network infrastructure evolves in line with technological advancements and service requirements.
- Act as a mentor and escalation point for regional operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring consistent operational excellence across all regions.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in network infrastructure management, data center operations, or a related area.
