Manager Accounts Payable & Bank Reconciliation

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function within our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and timely settlement of liabilities while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP systems, and the ability to lead a team effectively. The position is based onsite and offers a competitive monthly salary.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete Accounts Payable process, including invoice verification, payment processing, vendor reconciliations, and timely settlement of approved liabilities.
- Review invoices against purchase orders, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), contracts, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts, promptly identifying and resolving any unreconciled transactions.
- Review bank statements and ensure accurate recording of receipts, payments, transfers, bank charges, and other transactions within the ERP system.
- Manage and reconcile schedules related to supplier and landlord advances, security deposits, and prepaid expenses, ensuring timely adjustments and precise accounting.
- Monitor vendor aging reports, outstanding liabilities, and payment commitments to support effective working capital management.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities, including Accounts Payable accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Maintain compliance with applicable tax regulations, payment policies, and internal financial controls.
- Prepare and review management reports such as AP aging and bank reconciliations, and coordinate with internal and external auditors as required.
- Supervise the Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliation teams, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of tasks.
- Participate actively in ERP implementation projects, including data migration, configuration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-implementation support, collaborating closely with IT teams and consultants to resolve system issues.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process automation, operational efficiency improvements, and strengthening of financial controls.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience managing Accounts Payable functions and bank reconciliations in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls related to Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT and external auditors.
- Experience in ERP implementation and testing is highly desirable.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs120,000 to Rs170,000. This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to work onsite.
