Manager Accounts

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Manager Accounts to lead the financial operations of our manufacturing company based in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. The successful candidate will oversee accounting functions, taxation matters, and financial planning to maintain the company’s financial health and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in accounting principles, cost control, and financial reporting, particularly within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and financial operations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning to support business goals.
- Maintain precise books of accounts and all related financial documentation.
- Handle all taxation matters, including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax, ensuring full statutory compliance.
- Monitor manufacturing expenses, implement cost accounting practices, and enforce cost control measures to optimize profitability.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations regularly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
- Establish and maintain effective financial controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- ACMA (Part Qualified or Finalist) or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant practical experience, preferably within a manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial planning techniques.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cost management, and taxation compliance.
- Thorough understanding of applicable tax laws and statutory requirements relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems to enhance financial operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to support organizational objectives.
