The Manager Collection and Recovery position within the Digital Banking Group at GoPb is based in Lahore and offers an opportunity to contribute to the bank’s efforts in managing and optimizing the collections and recovery processes. Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the entire collections and recovery function, ensuring timely and efficient recovery of overdue accounts. Develop and implement strategies to minimize non-performing loans and improve recovery rates. Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Coordinate with internal departments such as legal, risk, and credit to streamline recovery processes. Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to collections and recovery. Manage and mentor the collections team, fostering a performance-driven culture. Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting recovery performance and challenges. Drive initiatives to enhance customer engagement and negotiate settlements where appropriate. Utilize digital tools and analytics to optimize collection strategies and improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is mandatory. Proven experience in collections and recovery management within the banking or financial services sector is essential. Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards related to collections and recovery. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required to handle customer interactions and internal coordination. Proficiency in digital banking platforms and recovery software tools is preferred. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
