The Manager Data Strategy role is a critical position that bridges fundraising, data management, process optimization, and technology within the Pakistan Development teams. This role is designed to enable fundraising teams to focus more on their core activities by providing reliable data, actionable donor insights, streamlined processes, and enhanced tools. The Manager will act as the primary liaison between Pakistan Development and TCF’s Data Analytics, Salesforce, Digital Transformation, and IT teams, translating business needs into effective solutions and overseeing their implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Insights: Take ownership of Pakistan Development’s data requirements by improving data quality and developing dashboards, reporting tools, and donor insights. These resources will empower fundraising teams to make informed decisions.
Business Intelligence: Extract and analyze data from Salesforce and other platforms to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Convert complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations that support strategic fundraising efforts.
Process Improvement: Map out key fundraising processes to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies. Redesign workflows to simplify, accelerate, and ease the execution of tasks for fundraising teams.
Salesforce & Systems: Collaborate closely with Salesforce and technical teams to enhance the capture, storage, extraction, and utilization of fundraising data. Translate business requirements into system enhancements and support testing and implementation phases.
Automation & AI: Identify repetitive or manual tasks suitable for simplification or automation. Partner with relevant teams to apply AI, workflow automation, or other digital tools that deliver practical value and efficiency gains.
Cross-Functional Delivery: Coordinate initiatives involving data, processes, and technology across multiple teams. Manage dependencies carefully to ensure smooth implementation with minimal disruption to frontline fundraising activities.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek out problems and opportunities for improvement without prompting. Develop practical solutions and drive them to completion, fostering a culture of ongoing enhancement.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools, along with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with CRM platforms.
- Strong experience with Salesforce and working knowledge of SQL are highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in process mapping, automation, AI, or digital transformation is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- A strong process improvement mindset and the capability to convert business needs into technical requirements.
- Effective stakeholder management, communication, ownership, and follow-through skills. Ability to influence without formal authority and work comfortably in ambiguous environments.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
Experience
Candidates should have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, process improvement, business transformation, sales or revenue operations, or a related function.
