Manager Factory - Consumer Electronics

We are seeking an experienced Manager Factory to oversee the entire operations of the Consumer Electronics - AC Factory located in Karachi. This leadership role involves managing production planning and performance, ensuring quality standards, controlling costs, overseeing maintenance, enforcing safety protocols, and managing manpower. The Manager will also coordinate activities across various departments to maintain smooth and efficient factory operations, driving the achievement of production targets and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct all factory operations to meet production goals, maintain quality standards, and fulfill customer expectations.
- Manage daily production activities, ensuring schedules are met without compromising product quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of manpower, equipment, facilities, and materials, aiming to reduce manufacturing costs.
- Ensure the availability of raw materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for uninterrupted production.
- Oversee timely preventive, corrective, and annual maintenance of production lines, machinery, and equipment.
- Monitor the operational readiness of production lines, standby equipment, and tools to avoid downtime.
- Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, safety standards, and production processes, updating them as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, disciplined, and productive work environment by implementing measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
- Guarantee the quality of finished products through effective implementation of production and quality standards.
- Facilitate proper training and development programs for personnel to ensure competence in their roles.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of production and operational documentation, including Production Test Reports, Rework Reports, Deployment Sheets, Equipment Status, and Attendance Sheets.
- Collaborate with the Product Commercialization Department (PCD) and other internal teams to resolve technical and production-related challenges, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Maintain strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders to meet production targets efficiently.
- Promptly report any production stoppages, equipment failures, accidents, or major incidents to the General Manager within the required timeframe.
- Conduct monthly performance review meetings, monitor follow-up actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager of CE Factories.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
- Over 15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production, ideally within the Consumer Electronics or HVAC/AC industry.
- Extensive experience in factory operations, production planning, quality management, maintenance, and manpower supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage production targets, operational costs, resources, and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, SOPs, safety regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and production or ERP systems.
