Manager Finance (CA Finalist)

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to manage and oversee the company’s treasury functions, cash management, and banking operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong banking relationships, ensuring effective liquidity management, and leading cash-flow forecasting and planning in compliance with IAS 7 standards. This role involves managing fund movements, budgeting, costing, and CAPEX planning, while also analyzing investment and redemption decisions. The candidate will play a key role in reviewing Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) to enhance financial controls and will oversee funding requirements across various business units. Additionally, managing import and export-related financial transactions and documentation will be a critical part of this position. Reporting on liquidity positions and funding needs to senior management, including the CFO and Heads of Departments, is essential. The role also includes leading and developing the Finance and Imports teams to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage banking relationships, liquidity, and daily cash operations to optimize cash flow and financial stability.
- Lead cash-flow forecasting and planning aligned with IAS 7 – Statement of Cash Flows.
- Oversee fund movements, budgeting, costing, and CAPEX planning to support strategic financial goals.
- Analyze investment opportunities and redemption decisions to maximize returns and minimize risks.
- Review Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) regularly and implement measures to strengthen financial controls.
- Manage ticketing funding requirements across various business units ensuring adequate resource allocation.
- Handle import and export-related financial transactions and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report liquidity positions and funding requirements to the CFO and Heads of Departments.
- Ensure effective cash management and smooth banking operations on a daily basis.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the Finance and Imports teams to enhance performance and professional growth.

Required Qualifications

- Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience in Treasury and Cash Management.
- Expertise in Cash-Flow Planning and Forecasting with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth understanding of IAS 7 – Statement of Cash Flows and its application in financial reporting.
- Proven skills in Budgeting and Costing with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience in making informed Investment and Redemption Decisions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Banking Operations and Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Familiarity with Import and Export Finance processes and documentation.
- Proficiency in Liquidity and Fund Management to maintain optimal cash positions.
- Experience in CAPEX Planning and financial resource allocation.
