The Manager Finance will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing critical financial functions within the organization. This position requires a seasoned professional to handle banking relations, including import business transactions such as Letters of Credit (LC) and advance foreign payments. The role also involves managing the investment portfolio for both the Endowment and General Funds, ensuring optimal returns and compliance. Additionally, the Manager Finance will be responsible for the costing of hospital services (CPTs) and ensuring full taxation compliance, which includes liaising with tax consultants and tax authorities. A key part of the role is to identify gaps within the ERP system by collaborating with various stakeholders and working closely with the MIS team to implement effective solutions. The position demands regular travel to different locations, reflecting the need for hands-on management and coordination across sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage banking relations, specifically handling import business transactions such as Letters of Credit (LC) and advance foreign payments.
- Oversee and optimize the investment portfolio for the Endowment and General Funds.
- Conduct detailed costing analysis of hospital services (CPTs) to support financial planning and pricing strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with taxation laws by coordinating with tax consultants and tax authorities.
- Identify and address gaps in the ERP system through stakeholder engagement and collaboration with the MIS team to implement necessary improvements.
- Travel regularly to various locations to provide on-site financial oversight and support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Commerce or Finance with a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, candidates holding ACMA or ACCA qualifications with at least 10 years of relevant experience will be considered.
- Chartered Accountants (CA) with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience are also eligible.
- Proven experience managing the specified financial domains in a managerial capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle-based ERP systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to perform and deliver results in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
