We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transportation Manager to oversee and optimize our daily transportation and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products across various locations, managing both company-owned and third-party fleets, and coordinating with multiple departments to maintain seamless logistics processes. This role demands strong analytical skills to monitor performance metrics, control costs, and implement improvements that enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, and monitor daily transportation and distribution activities to meet operational targets.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to branches, customers, warehouses, and other designated locations.
- Oversee company-owned and third-party transportation and fleet operations, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Develop and continuously improve transportation routes to boost delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse, procurement, sales, stores, and other departments to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and transportation expenses to optimize resource use.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with transporters, logistics vendors, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, safety standards, and proper documentation requirements.
- Track delivery performance, promptly addressing delays, shortages, damages, and other logistics challenges.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery, Transportation Cost, Vehicle Utilization, Delivery Accuracy, and Order Cycle Time.
- Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicles, deliveries, invoices, and all logistics-related documentation.
- Coordinate effectively during peak seasons, new branch openings, and business expansion activities to ensure uninterrupted service.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in transportation management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management, route planning, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and logistics costs to drive operational improvements.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work across multiple departments.
- Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs250,000 to Rs300,000.
