We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transportation Manager to oversee and optimize our daily transportation and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate delivery of products across various locations, manage both company-owned and third-party fleets, and collaborate closely with multiple departments to maintain smooth logistics processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a focus on cost efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, and monitor daily transportation and distribution activities to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to branches, customers, warehouses, and other designated locations.
- Oversee company-owned and third-party transportation and fleet operations, ensuring optimal performance.
- Develop and continuously monitor transportation routes to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate effectively with warehouse, procurement, sales, stores, and other departments to support logistics activities.
- Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and overall transportation expenses.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with transporters, logistics vendors, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
- Track delivery performance metrics and promptly resolve issues such as delays, shortages, and damages.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including On-Time Delivery, Transportation Cost, Vehicle Utilization, Delivery Accuracy, and Order Cycle Time.
- Analyze logistics costs regularly to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicles, deliveries, invoices, and all relevant logistics documentation.
- Coordinate logistics effectively during peak seasons, new branch openings, and periods of business expansion.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in transportation management or logistics coordination.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management, route planning, and transportation regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in monitoring KPIs and using data to drive operational improvements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements in transportation.

- Experience working with both company-owned and third-party transportation fleets.
- Demonstrated success in cost reduction and process optimization within logistics operations.
- Ability to adapt and manage logistics during business growth phases and seasonal fluctuations.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs250,000 to Rs350,000.
- Work location requires in-person attendance, providing direct oversight and hands-on management of transportation activities.
