Manager Ground Training Competency

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Training Center team at our Corporate Headquarters in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and managing competency frameworks and assessment standards to ensure the highest quality of training within the organization. This position requires close collaboration with instructors and various departments to standardize training delivery, monitor trainee performance, and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements. The role also involves overseeing the induction and ongoing training of instructors to uphold operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and define competency frameworks and assessment standards tailored to organizational needs.
- Monitor trainee performance to ensure achievement of required competencies.
- Analyze training data to identify gaps and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with instructors to standardize training delivery methods and materials.
- Liaise with different departments for the effective planning and implementation of training programs.
- Maintain comprehensive records to ensure compliance with all regulatory training requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to aviation regulatory standards and training regulations.
- Plan and oversee the induction and continuous training of instructors to maintain instructional quality.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 6 to 9 years of experience in airline operations or training functions.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulatory environments, including training standards, certification, and audit processes.
- Experience working with aviation authorities such as the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) or similar regulatory bodies is highly advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication abilities to effectively engage with instructors and departments.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital tools such as Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and effective communication.
