The Manager Homologation plays a crucial role in ensuring that tractor models meet all regulatory and certification requirements. This position is responsible for managing homologation, testing, and validation activities to guarantee product compliance. The role involves overseeing regulatory approvals, coordinating product testing programs, maintaining technical documentation, and liaising with regulatory authorities and external testing agencies. Additionally, the Manager Homologation leads the homologation team, driving continuous improvements to enhance testing efficiency, shorten approval timelines, and maintain strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead homologation and certification efforts for new and existing tractor models, ensuring adherence to EDB, PSQCA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Plan and manage comprehensive product testing and validation programs, including performance, field, prototype, and component testing, ensuring milestones are met on schedule.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing teams, and external agencies to facilitate product validation, regulatory approvals, and production releases.
- Oversee regulatory submissions, technical documentation, test reports, and certification records, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory standards and legislation, assessing and implementing necessary compliance measures promptly.
- Lead and develop the Homologation and Testing team by managing resources, workloads, performance, and technical skill development.
- Drive continuous process improvements to reduce cycle times, improve testing efficiency, optimize costs, and strengthen compliance frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in product design and testing, with hands-on knowledge of homologation and regulatory compliance.
- Proven expertise in product development, design, testing, and validation.
- Strong understanding of homologation processes, regulatory compliance, and product certification.
- Mandatory experience in the automotive or tractor industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, engage stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional activities effectively.
