The Manager – HR will be responsible for leading and managing all human resource functions to support the organization’s objectives while fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, payroll administration, compliance, and policy implementation. The Manager ensures that all HR activities comply with labor laws and best practices, while promoting collaboration and engagement across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes. Build and maintain a talent pipeline to address both current and future staffing requirements.

Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems and key performance indicators (KPIs). Support managers in setting employee goals, conducting evaluations, and delivering constructive feedback to enhance performance.

Training & Development: Assess training needs through performance reviews and skill gap analysis. Design and facilitate training programs that improve employee capabilities and support career advancement.

Employee Relations: Cultivate a positive organizational culture by encouraging open communication, employee engagement, and effective conflict resolution. Address grievances and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.

Compensation & Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing, attendance monitoring, and leave management. Ensure salary structures remain competitive and comply with statutory benefits such as EOBI and SESSI.

Policy Development & Implementation: Create, review, and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures. Ensure all policies are compliant with labor laws and aligned with organizational goals.

HR Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements, and coordinate with government authorities on HR-related reporting and compliance matters.

Organizational Development: Assist in strategic HR planning and workforce forecasting. Support change management initiatives and organizational restructuring efforts.

HR Systems & Analytics: Manage HR information systems (HRIS) and produce regular HR reports and dashboards. Use data-driven insights to improve HR processes and enhance employee satisfaction.

Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor HR staff, encouraging their professional growth. Promote teamwork within the HR department and collaboration with other organizational units.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant HR experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and payroll management.
- Demonstrated experience in both strategic HR policy development and operational HR functions.
