Manager IT

This role involves the comprehensive management and administration of primary and disaster recovery datacenter server systems and operating systems, ensuring continuous 100% uptime. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining enterprise-wide systems that operate 24/7 throughout the year. The position requires hands-on management of Active Directory, Kaspersky Enterprise Solutions, and storage environments, along with overseeing hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) modules, virtual machines, networking, and backup and recovery processes within virtual environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain primary and disaster recovery datacenter server systems and server operating systems to guarantee uninterrupted service availability.
- Administer Active Directory, enterprise security solutions, and storage infrastructure.
- Oversee hyper-converged infrastructure modules, virtual machines, network configurations, and backup and recovery operations.
- Provide server-side support for LAN/WAN applications, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and virtualized environments.
- Optimize computer, software, and network systems to uphold high levels of confidentiality, integrity, and availability for business-critical applications.
- Perform regular backups of critical servers and applications, conduct routine audits of system logs and activities across all servers and devices.
- Install and configure new server hardware and software, including supervising installations at client locations.
- Be available on-call outside normal working hours to address emergencies, service interruptions, or major activities requiring after-hours support.
- Review, schedule, and implement software updates, patches, service packs, and perform server tuning as necessary.
- Troubleshoot network issues, web services, mail services, and internet connectivity problems.
- Act as a liaison with service providers and vendors to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain broad technical knowledge of operating systems, datacenter solutions, software, and hardware.
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Lenovo server series, storage solutions, and backup systems.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve hardware and software issues on servers and workstations, escalating incidents when required.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support to end users at all levels.
- Possess knowledge of website maintenance to support related infrastructure needs.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from a reputable, HEC-recognized university.
- A minimum of six years of experience in IT functions with a strong technical background.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.
