We are seeking a highly experienced legal professional to join our organization on a contract basis. The appointment will initially be for two years, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement. The selected candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package aligned with their qualifications and experience. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience. Candidates currently employed in government organizations must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to be considered. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including commercial, corporate, and international law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel as necessary.
- Monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- Advise on risk management and legal implications of business decisions, particularly in areas related to international trade, maritime law, and human rights.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop and implement legal strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Prepare reports and presentations on legal issues for senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Law (LLB) or equivalent degree in law.
- Advanced legal qualifications such as Master of Law (LLM) in any of the following specializations: International Trade Laws, International Legal Studies, Human Rights Law, Comparative Commercial Law, Sharia & Law, Commercial and Corporate Law, International Commercial and Business Laws, Corporate Law, International and Maritime Law, or International Commercial Law.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in relevant legal fields.
- Proven expertise in international commercial and maritime law is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of mercantile law and legal practices related to corporate governance.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Candidates with specialized LLM degrees in International Commercial and Maritime Law or related fields will be given preference.
