We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to manage and support the communication status of smart meters across the organization, ensuring seamless technical operations from installation through post-commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support for AMI Rollouts/POCs:
Take ownership of site commissioning for AMI projects, rollouts, and proof of concepts (POCs). Provide on-field support during project execution and manage operations until the successful handover to end-users.

Smart Meters Operations & Maintenance (O&M):
Ensure communication KPIs for smart meters installed within the distribution network are met through effective operations and maintenance. This includes aligning resources for joint surveys to troubleshoot communication issues, developing predictive maintenance plans, overseeing resource allocation for resolving non-communicative meters, and devising asset maintenance strategies. Manage configuration of smart meters according to NEPRA standards within defined turnaround times. Provide remote operational support and maintain inventory of communication devices such as modems and SIM cards. Monitor operational KPIs by maintaining AMI O&M performance dashboards and reports, while ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.

O&M SOPs Compliance:
Ensure adherence to AMI component lifecycles and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain ownership of technical documentation supporting AMI policies, SOPs, and lifecycle frameworks related to smart meters.

Smart Meter Standards & Technical Documentation:
Govern and maintain all SOPs, policies, codes, and technical specifications related to AMI assets at the distribution level. Ensure the implementation of standardized codes and specifications for smart meters.

Resource Management:
Build and lead high-performance teams through coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution. Identify training needs and contribute to performance management by fostering employee engagement. Promote team spirit and seamless collaboration to enhance efficiency. Develop capability-building plans to ensure availability of required skills and expertise. Design performance indicators and learning plans to support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in smart meter operations, AMI project support, or related fields
