The Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P), a prominent not-for-profit healthcare organization under the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), is dedicated to delivering quality healthcare services across Pakistan. Through a wide network of hospitals, medical centers, and community programs, AKHS, P emphasizes innovation, excellence, and patient-centered care. The organization is currently seeking an experienced Manager Monitoring & Evaluation to report to the Manager Program. This role involves overseeing project implementation, monitoring progress against approved protocols and objectives, and strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems. The position requires developing monitoring tools, analyzing project data, preparing reports, and supporting evidence-based decision-making. Frequent travel to project sites in Karachi, Gilgit, and Chitral is an essential aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project implementation and monitor progress against approved plans, protocols, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and implement effective monitoring and evaluation strategies, tools, and mechanisms to track project activities, progress, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and effective implementation of activities across all project sites.
- Collect, compile, analyze, and interpret project data, presenting findings to support monitoring and decision-making.
- Conduct regular field visits to project sites to assess progress, monitor implementation, and provide support to field-based staff.
- Identify implementation gaps and collaborate with project teams to develop and execute corrective actions.
- Monitor project activities and deliverables to ensure timely completion in line with approved plans and requirements.
- Prepare weekly progress reports, detailed project reports, and presentations for project management and donors.
- Monitor budgeted activities and coordinate with relevant teams to support timely achievement of project deliverables.
- Support the achievement of project objectives and KPIs through regular monitoring and performance tracking.
- Contribute to the development of an evidence-based service delivery model for the elderly population in Pakistan.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, health-related fields, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related disciplines. Equivalent combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within healthcare, public health, development, or community-based projects.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project sites.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience in community health programs is preferred.
- Previous experience in project monitoring and evaluation is an asset.
