Based in Islamabad, this role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity, timeliness, and technical accuracy of data related to Monitoring and Evaluation. The position acts as the primary checkpoint for data collected, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, including but not limited to biannual reporting. The incumbent will oversee the entire data validation process, ensuring that all submissions meet the necessary standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Biannual Reporting Cycle: Lead the complete execution of the regular monitoring mechanism, guaranteeing 100% on-time submission and thorough technical validation of progress reports from all relevant external stakeholders.

Evidence-Based Verification: Shift compliance assessments from narrative summaries to competency-based evidence by verifying and validating technical milestones accurately.

Risk & Deviation Management: Use the Compliance Risk Map proactively to identify any regulatory or statutory deviations and high-risk entities. Provide recommendations for corrective actions or issue formal rectification notices as necessary.

Cross-Functional Data Integration: Work closely with other departments to cross-reference data with external systems, ensuring comprehensive validation and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

Professional Background: A minimum of three years’ experience in regulatory compliance, monitoring, or auditing is essential.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and mechanisms is required.

Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to interpret financial statements and business plans effectively.

Communication: Excellent drafting skills for formal regulatory correspondence and organizational assessments aimed at alignment.

Integrity: Demonstrated high ethical standards to manage sensitive data responsibly and ensure impartial enforcement of regulations.

Education Requirements: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized national or foreign university is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

A master’s degree and experience working in the public sector will be considered advantageous. The role is classified at Grade Level 2 and offers a single vacancy. Candidates should be no older than 35 years. Acceptable academic qualifications include a wide range of degrees such as BS Management, BS Public Administration, BS Data Science, BS Financial Accounting, various BBA specializations (Finance, Marketing & Finance, Project Management, Information Technology, Technology Management), PGDs in Supply Chain Management, Economics & Finance, Data Science with AI, Public Administration, and MBAs in Accounting & Finance, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Finance, among others.
