Manager Network Security Operations

This role involves working closely with internal business teams and IT groups to analyze and understand their network security requirements, recommending appropriate secure solutions aligned with the bank’s objectives. The position requires developing and maintaining technology plans that integrate seamlessly with the existing network infrastructure. Collaboration with various stakeholders and vendors is essential to manage project timelines and ensure successful delivery of network security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management:
Coordinate with internal customers and business teams to gather and analyze their requirements, providing suitable secure network solutions. Develop and maintain technology plans in partnership with IT groups and business units to ensure integration with the bank’s existing network security framework. Engage with stakeholders and vendors to discuss project timelines and integration efforts, ensuring agreed activities are delivered effectively.

Network Security Controls:
Deploy and implement network security controls that support the bank’s information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. Take ownership of the penetration testing process to identify vulnerabilities and ensure remediation. Manage access control processes to safeguard network resources and maintain security compliance.

Continual Improvement:
Review audit findings and address any objections in line with PCI-DSS compliance recommendations to enhance the overall network security posture.

People Management:
Lead, supervise, and motivate the project team to ensure timely delivery of project tasks while maintaining quality and budgetary requirements.

Technical Evaluation:
Conduct technical evaluations of annual maintenance contracts, equipment servicing, and service level agreements related to network services to ensure optimal performance and compliance.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Professional certification as a Network Professional is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in network security and management.
