Manager Operation (Medical Billing)

A leading U.S.-based wound care medical billing company with an office in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is seeking an experienced Manager of Operations to oversee its Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) functions. This senior managerial role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively coordinate between U.S. management and Pakistan operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant billing processes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing RCM teams and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced medical billing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the Revenue Cycle Management process, including charge capture, coding, claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable (AR) follow-up, denial management, and patient collections. Supervise multiple teams across billing, coding, AR follow-up, denial management, payment posting, and quality assurance to maintain smooth and efficient operations. Define clear roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures to uphold accountability within the teams. Collaborate closely with Human Resources to ensure optimal staffing levels through recruitment and workforce planning. Analyze operational data regularly and ensure the accuracy and integrity of reports to support informed decision-making and strategic planning. Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations and standards such as HIPAA, ICD-10, and CPT coding guidelines. Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) including clean claim rates, denial rates, collection targets, and client satisfaction metrics. Prepare and present detailed monthly and quarterly reports to senior leadership and clients, and represent the company in high-level client meetings. Utilize proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs), RCM tools, and reporting dashboards such as Monday.com, Athena, Net Health, AdvancedMD, and eClinicalWorks, with a focus on wound care-specific systems.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of proven managerial experience leading RCM operations with comprehensive technical knowledge of the full RCM lifecycle. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial performance metrics and identify areas for operational improvement. In-depth understanding of CMS guidelines, payer policies, medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and compliance standards. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in medical billing and revenue cycle management. Exceptional English communication skills are critical, including fluency in spoken English and the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with U.S.-based directors and international stakeholders. Strong verbal communication, presentation, and discussion skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Experience working with U.S.-based medical billing companies or in a similar healthcare revenue cycle environment is highly desirable. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, to align with U.S. time zones. This is an onsite position based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The company offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 250,000 to PKR 270,000. Additional benefits include performance bonuses and medical coverage.
