We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead and manage the end-to-end procurement function within our organization. The ideal candidate will develop procurement strategies aligned with business goals and budgets, ensuring timely sourcing and delivery of raw materials, packaging, finished goods, spare parts, and other operational requirements. This role involves close collaboration with multiple departments including Planning, Supply Chain, Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance to meet procurement needs efficiently. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supplier evaluation, negotiation, contract management, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost and value.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business requirements and budget constraints.
- Manage the entire procurement cycle, including sourcing, issuing RFQs, evaluating quotations, negotiating terms, issuing purchase orders, and overseeing deliveries.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors to ensure a robust supply base.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, contracts, and other commercial conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, availability, and potential supply risks to proactively manage procurement activities.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, spare parts, and other operational necessities.
- Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, Production, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and other departments to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.
- Review purchase requisitions to confirm compliance with approved specifications and budgets before processing.
- Maintain and regularly update the approved supplier/vendor database to reflect current performance and compliance.
- Develop and apply supplier performance evaluation criteria focusing on quality, cost, delivery, service, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor purchase orders and actively follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, approval matrices, and relevant regulations.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, supplier consolidation, and value optimization.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, quotations, comparative statements, and supplier documentation.
- Resolve supplier-related issues concerning pricing, quality, quantity, delivery, and payment terms in coordination with relevant departments.
- Track procurement KPIs and prepare periodic reports for management review.
- Lead and develop the procurement team, ensuring effective workload distribution and performance management.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and transparency throughout the procurement process.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, and contract management.
- Experience working with ERP or procurement systems is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and team management skills.
