The Senior Manager, Student Life is a pivotal leader within the Office of Student Life, tasked with overseeing multiple portfolios including communication, publication, networking, and Health & Wellness. This role plays a critical part in fostering student engagement and leadership development while aligning with broader institutional goals. The position demands a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder collaboration, effective program execution, facility management, and budget oversight to ensure the delivery of impactful student life initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the communication, publication, networking, and Health & Wellness portfolios within the Office of Student Life.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that enhance student engagement and support leadership development programs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote student life initiatives and strengthen community connections.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of programs and events that contribute to a vibrant campus environment.
- Manage facilities related to student life activities, ensuring they meet operational standards and support program needs.
- Provide budgetary oversight, including planning, monitoring, and reporting to ensure financial resources are effectively allocated.
- Support institutional initiatives by aligning student life programs with the university’s mission and strategic priorities.
- Supervise and mentor staff within the portfolios, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to inform continuous improvement and demonstrate impact.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in student affairs, student life, or a related field, with a strong background in managing multiple portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and program implementation within a higher education or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in budget management and facility oversight.
- Strong leadership skills, including team supervision and development.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
