The Business Development Manager role at the Karachi Cantt Branch is a full-time, on-site position based in the Karachi East District. The primary responsibility is to identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining a robust sales pipeline to achieve assigned sales and revenue targets. Daily activities include prospecting potential clients, conducting meetings and presentations, explaining life assurance and financial products, and preparing tailored proposals. The role also requires managing existing client relationships, following up on leads, coordinating with internal teams for policy issuance and servicing, and maintaining accurate sales records and reports.

In addition to sales responsibilities, the Business Development Manager will actively contribute to local marketing initiatives, participate in training programs, and support branch efforts aimed at expanding the customer base and enhancing brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales targets.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective prospecting and lead generation.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to explain insurance and financial products clearly.
- Prepare customized proposals based on client needs and financial goals.
- Manage ongoing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Follow up on leads promptly and coordinate with internal departments for smooth policy issuance and servicing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
- Participate in local marketing activities and branch initiatives to promote brand growth.
- Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Required Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
- Ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships with strong customer service and networking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial products.
- Basic financial literacy and understanding of insurance or financial services; prior experience in life assurance or banking is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work toward targets, manage time efficiently, and handle field-based responsibilities in an on-site setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital tools for reporting and client communication.
- Fluency in local languages and English.
