We are looking for a skilled Manual Lathe Operator with over two years of hands-on experience working with heavy-duty conventional center lathes. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent mechanical aptitude, strong blueprint reading abilities, and the capacity to independently set up, machine, and inspect medium-to-large precision components. Precision and adherence to strict tolerances on high-rigidity industrial machinery are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate heavy-duty conventional manual lathes and related shop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform precision machining tasks including turning, boring, facing, single-point threading (both metric and imperial), grooving, and tapering.
- Execute complex setups using 3-jaw and 4-jaw chucks, faceplates, steady rests, and follow rests.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols accurately.
- Select appropriate tooling, inserts, speeds, and feeds based on material specifications such as carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections to maintain tight tolerances (e.g., ±0.0005" / ±0.001") using precision measurement tools like micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and calipers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal operation.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience operating heavy manual/conventional lathes.
- Proficient in 4-jaw chuck dial-in alignment and capable of setting up large or heavy workpieces independently.
- Strong ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and apply relevant shop mathematics.
- High proficiency in using precision measurement instruments.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and safely operate overhead rigging or hoists for handling heavy materials.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; completion of a Machinist Apprenticeship or Technical Trade School is considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with formal machinist training or apprenticeship experience will be highly regarded. The position offers competitive monthly pay ranging from Rs35,000 to Rs60,000, with opportunities for overtime. Additional benefits include paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays. This is an in-person role requiring presence at the designated work location.

This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented and experienced lathe operator seeking to work in a dynamic industrial environment with a focus on precision and quality.
