We are looking to hire exceptional Academic Managers - Biology/Chemistry/Physics to create a comprehensive course for intermediate and matriculation STEM subjects across Pakistan - this will also cover test preparation for universities that builds upon the Intermediate course. The course would be delivered through video lectures covering concepts and key questions tested. There will also be a question bank covering past exam questions plus questions developed in-house at Maqsad to test concepts. The content and question bank would be very granular and specific to each provincial board (Punjab, KPK etc) and sub-board (Karachi, Multan etc)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop subject-matter and curriculum expertise with the academic team
- Manage team of academics across different subject and boards
- Optimize for learning outcomes and student engagement across all academic content
- Ensure consistent pedagogy standards across instructors
- Manage multiple content development pipelines across ideation, planning and execution
- Work alongside Product team to ensure student is kept at the center of all product decisions
- Coordinate with the production and design teams to ensure quality control
Qualifications and experience
Must have:
- In-depth knowledge of Pakistan’s education landscape and curriculum across boards
- Experience in teaching and academic content creation
- Understanding of various pedagogical techniques
- World class project management skills
Nice to have:
- Education related qualifications (bachelors, masters or similar)
- Experience in the education technology space
- Experience of digital academic content creation
- Worked with creative content creators (designers, animators, etc.)
