CIRCLE Women Association is a women-led social enterprise established in 2018, dedicated to advancing women’s economic empowerment across Pakistan. The organization focuses on digital literacy, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurship, utilizing AI-powered health solutions and skills development programs to create opportunities for women from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. With strong female representation in leadership and staff, CIRCLE’s initiatives align with key UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly gender equality and decent work. One of its flagship projects, CIRCLE Baji, is Pakistan’s first large-scale WhatsApp-based learning platform, providing thousands of women—especially from low-income communities—with essential digital skills, financial literacy, and business tools. Through a combination of on-ground programs, digital interventions, and a community-centered leadership approach, CIRCLE fosters inclusive and supportive environments where women can learn, lead, and thrive.

The TikTok Intern will play a vital role in enhancing CIRCLE Women Association’s digital presence by planning, creating, and publishing engaging TikTok content that showcases the organization’s programs, impact stories, and community initiatives. This full-time, on-site position based in Lahore involves filming and editing short-form videos, contributing to content ideation for campaigns, and tailoring messaging to resonate with diverse audiences. The intern will monitor basic performance metrics, recommend improvements based on trends and audience engagement, and collaborate closely with the communications and program teams to maintain consistency with CIRCLE’s mission and branding. Additionally, the role includes managing the TikTok community by responding to comments, engaging with relevant trends, and promoting a safe and inclusive online environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, film, edit, and publish short-form TikTok videos that highlight CIRCLE’s programs and impact.
- Assist in brainstorming and developing creative content ideas for digital campaigns.
- Adapt content to suit different audience segments and ensure alignment with organizational values.
- Track and analyze basic performance metrics to inform content strategy and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with communications and program teams to maintain brand consistency.
- Manage community engagement on TikTok by responding to comments and participating in trending challenges.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe digital space for followers and community members.

Required Qualifications
- Ability to create, edit, and publish short-form video content, with hands-on experience using basic video editing tools.
- Strong interest in social media, digital storytelling, and content creation, with awareness of trending formats and audience engagement techniques.
- Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal expression in English; proficiency in Urdu or other local languages is an advantage.
- Demonstrated passion for gender equality, social impact, and working with diverse communities, particularly women and youth.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Basic familiarity with analytics and eagerness to learn how to interpret performance data to enhance content quality.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant field such as media studies, communications, marketing, or social sciences is preferred but not mandatory.
- Openness to feedback, creativity, and a proactive attitude toward pitching new ideas aligned with CIRCLE’s mission and values.
