PMDC is seeking a Marketing/Export Promotion Officer to join its Salt Business unit on an open contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, supported by a relevant business degree. This role focuses on driving export promotion activities and enhancing market presence for the company’s salt products. The position requires a proactive individual with at least three years of experience in related fields, capable of developing and executing effective marketing strategies to boost sales and expand export opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing and export promotion strategies to increase the market share of salt products.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential export markets through research and analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns and export procedures.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt marketing plans accordingly.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market developments, and promotional activities for senior management.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and other promotional events to represent the company and build relationships with clients and distributors.
- Support the sales team by providing marketing materials, product information, and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and company policies throughout all promotional activities.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or export promotion.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and export processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
