Responsibilities:
Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.* Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.* Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.* Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures * Review requirements documentation with cross functional team (s) and ensure testability after completion of the project.• Identify maximum numbers of programming / requirement missing errors in a project before onward delivery to the client.• Prepare all software testing procedures and possible scenarios on time in accordance with the project plan.• Test coverage on all functional and non-functional requirements referring to the project specification document and the scope of work.• Ensure minimum of bug seepage and errors in all projects before delivery of project to the client.• Perform all allotted testing tasks and complete them within the given time span outlined in the project provided by the project manager.• Test execution for all test cases in related build [software product to be submitted to the client] and ensure client environment compatibility.• Review reported bugs; propose urgent fixes, verify applied fixes and track issues through closure [complete rectification of the software issues].• Follow CMMI procedures and processes during testing the project (s) in Software Development Life Cycle [SDLC].• Use Test Management Tool / VSTS / Automated Test Tools effectively and efficiently.• Perform any other work assigned by the superiors.
