Position Overview:

As a Sales Manager in Cloud Computing, you will be responsible for Creating a team of sales professionals and driving the sales efforts in the cloud computing domain. Your primary goal will be to meet or exceed sales targets, develop strong customer relationships, and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets in the cloud computing market.
  • Identify target customers, market segments, and key industry verticals for cloud computing solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to determine effective sales strategies.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team focused on selling cloud computing solutions.
  • Set clear sales targets, objectives, and performance goals for the team.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their sales skills and maximize their potential.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the cloud computing sector.
  • Understand customer requirements, challenges, and pain points, and present appropriate cloud computing solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of cloud computing solutions.

Sales Execution and Performance:

  • Lead by example and actively engage in sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and deal closure.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline, and forecasts to identify areas of improvement.
  • Provide regular sales reports, updates, and feedback to senior management.

Industry and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and advancements in cloud computing technologies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the organization's cloud computing solutions, their features, and their competitive advantages.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential market opportunities and positioning strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).
  • Proven experience as a sales manager or in a similar sales leadership role, preferably in the cloud computing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, platforms, services, and architectures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a sales team.
