This role focuses on designing, analyzing, and evaluating various structural components to meet client specifications and industry standards, without team management responsibilities. The Structural Design Engineer works closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop detailed structural designs and drawings. The engineer applies principles of engineering, mathematics, and materials science to ensure structural integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. The position demands a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality deliverables within established timelines.
Responsibilities

Perform detailed structural analysis and design of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings using established engineering principles.
Develop accurate and clear structural drawings and documentation using AutoCAD to support project requirements and client specifications.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure designs meet safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness standards.
Review and interpret project specifications, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the design process.
Conduct feasibility studies and propose design alternatives to optimize structural performance and reduce project costs.
Prepare and present technical reports, design calculations, and project updates to stakeholders.
Coordinate with project management to plan project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.
Assist in resolving site issues related to structural design and support construction teams during project implementation.
Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in structural engineering to continuously improve design quality and processes.
