We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer proficient in Spring Boot and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in developing and maintaining live, highly available systems and possess expertise in monitoring and utilizing telemetry clients to ensure system health and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and secure Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system integration and performance.
- Implement monitoring solutions using telemetry clients for real-time system observation, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure system availability, reliability, and scalability by employing best practices in fault-tolerance and load balancing.
- Participate in agile methodologies, working in a high-paced environment to deliver iterative solutions.
- Contribute to the growth and enhancement of the team's technical capabilities and foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.
Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience (3-5years) in Java development, specifically with Spring Boot and microservices.
- Proven experience in deploying and maintaining live, highly available systems in a production environment.
- Proficiency in utilizing telemetry clients for monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining system health and performance.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and working in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and thrive in a collaborative team setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Desire to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Spring Framework and/or microservices architecture.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Prior involvement in leading or mentoring junior team members.
