Lead Production Operations & Supply Chain-Skin Care Brands

McMaster Supply Group is seeking a skilled Lead for Production Operations and Supply Chain specializing in Skin Care Brands. This role requires a dedicated professional to manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain process from demand forecasting to e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will oversee production planning, vendor relationships, costing, ERP system management, and quality assurance while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. With up to five years of relevant experience, the candidate will lead a small team to deliver superior results in supply chain management for skin care products. The Lead will manage all packaging and vendor management activities, develop costing and pricing models, and supervise ERP system operations, guaranteeing inventory accuracy and workflow automation. This role demands a hands-on approach to executing brand launches, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing toll manufacturing quality processes. The successful candidate will be instrumental in bridging production with marketing and sales to ensure seamless product availability and compliance with cosmetics regulatory standards.
Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with packaging vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely supply of packaging materials.
Place purchase orders and monitor On Time In Full (OTIF) performance, ensuring all deliveries meet quality requirements.
Oversee approval and delivery of primary and secondary packaging components, maintaining high standards.
Develop should-cost models and accurately calculate landed cost of goods sold, including raw materials, packaging, freight, duties, and overheads.
Create and maintain price ladders for direct-to-consumer and marketplace sales channels, ensuring market competitiveness.
Define promotional guardrails and maintain detailed price files to support sales strategies.
Manage ERP (Odoo 18) product masters for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging, including bills of materials, routings, quality control points, and batch parameters.
Implement barcoding, QR codes, min-max inventory levels, and reorder rules to maintain inventory accuracy above 98%.
Lead automation initiatives within ERP systems to improve production and supply chain accuracy, efficiency, and traceability.
Oversee e-commerce operations in collaboration with system providers, ensuring product data, inventory, and order synchronization are accurate and up-to-date.
Conduct user acceptance testing, prepare go-live procedures, and manage returns and exchange workflows for e-commerce channels.
Prepare weekly master production schedules and material requirement plans, aligning production and packaging schedules to meet dispatch requirements.
Coordinate with logistics partners for efficient dispatch planning and execution.
Perform market research to benchmark competitive pricing, packaging formats, and product claims, providing actionable insights to marketing teams.
Conduct regular vendor, plant, and printer visits to monitor operations, capture critical updates, and identify risks requiring mitigation.
Ensure quality assurance compliance for toll-manufactured batches, achieving high first-pass approval rates and minimizing rework or rejections.
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with toll manufacturers to address deviations and maintain quality standards.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of brand launches, aligning supply chain, marketing, and sales teams for successful market entry.
Support website development projects by coordinating content accuracy, product representation, testing, and timely launch readiness.
