Mekex Solution SMC (Mekex Innovation SRL) is a specialized engineering firm focused on delivering comprehensive mechanical projects customized to client needs. Our expertise lies in integrating engineering and mechanical design to manage all phases of project development, from initial studies and workshop drawings to detailed product documentation. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer intern to join our R&D team. This role involves designing both traditional and fully automatic machines, as well as improving existing designs. We seek candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and grow, as we believe mindset is just as important as technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software, primarily SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to clarify project requirements and specifications.
- Apply simulation techniques to validate and optimize designs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate engineering drawings and material specifications.
- Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis to assess and enhance design precision.
- Document design processes, changes, and specifications to ensure traceability.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering to incorporate best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or final-year student in Mechanical Design Engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD software and familiarity with technical calculation methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage stress effectively.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Good coordination and planning skills to manage tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- This is a full-time internship position lasting 4 to 6 months.
- The internship offers a monthly stipend ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000.
