In this hourly, remote contractor position, you will play a crucial role in reviewing AI-generated engineering solutions and creating expert Mechanical Engineering content. Your primary focus will be to evaluate the quality of reasoning and step-by-step problem-solving, providing clear and concise written feedback. You will assess solutions for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the given prompts, identify any methodological or conceptual errors, fact-check assumptions, and produce high-quality explanations and model solutions. Additionally, you will rate and compare multiple responses based on correctness and reasoning quality. Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI Training Content: Create detailed prompts and responses across various mechanical engineering topics to guide AI learning and ensure comprehensive subject understanding.
- Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI-generated responses to improve the model’s accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
- Ensure Model Integrity: Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases, validating their reliability and consistency across different use cases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Engineering Physics, with a focus on Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Statics-Dynamics, or Differential Equations.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, applied physics, engineering mathematics, and system modeling.
- Ability to critically evaluate technical solutions for correctness, methodology, unit and dimensional consistency, assumptions, and physical plausibility with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain reasoning and corrections; minimum C1 level English proficiency.
- Experience applying basic design principles such as requirements, constraints, margins, and trade-offs in practical engineering contexts.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of delivering consistent, high-quality work in a remote, hourly contractor role across various time zones.
