Mechanical Engineer

Hydro Solutions is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Lahore. This on-site position is ideal for candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience, particularly those familiar with pumps and water or wastewater systems. The role involves working on government and public-sector projects, requiring a strong understanding of tenders, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical submissions. The position operates during morning shifts and includes travel as part of the job. The salary range offered is PKR 70,000 to 150,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee mechanical engineering tasks related to pumps and water/wastewater systems.
- Prepare and review technical submissions, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Develop and analyze tenders and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for various projects.
- Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of engineering solutions.
- Support government and public-sector projects by adhering to regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Participate in site visits and travel as necessary to monitor project progress and resolve technical issues.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with pumps and water/wastewater systems.
- Proven experience in preparing tenders, BOQs, and technical submissions.
- Strong understanding of government and public-sector project requirements.
- Ability to work full-time on-site during morning shifts.
- Willingness to travel as part of job responsibilities.
