We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer based in Lahore, Pakistan, to join our team in a non-managerial capacity. This role is integral to supporting construction and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects by ensuring mechanical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned effectively. The position involves hands-on site supervision and coordination with various disciplines to maintain project quality and timelines. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical engineering, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, and be comfortable working on-site with some travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Review mechanical design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems with other engineering disciplines to avoid conflicts and ensure seamless integration.
- Supervise site activities related to mechanical installations, ensuring adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections during installation phases to verify workmanship and materials meet project specifications.
- Perform testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to confirm operational efficiency and compliance with design intent.
- Implement quality control procedures and maintain detailed documentation of inspections, tests, and commissioning results.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports and technical documentation to project management teams.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience in the field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within construction or MEP projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design and installation.
- Ability to work effectively on-site during morning shifts and manage travel requirements as needed.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
