VeevoNix, a subsidiary of Veevo Tech, specializes in research and manufacturing within the electronics and energy sectors. Their flagship product, ChargeX, is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) based power storage battery developed over 10+ years. This product integrates custom firmware, touchscreen HMI, hardware PCBs, and a cloud monitoring platform, showcasing a sophisticated blend of storage chemistry and electronics. As the company continues to innovate, the role offers a unique opportunity to be deeply involved in both engineering delivery and manufacturing quality.

Key Responsibilities

You will be the primary point of accountability for engineering delivery and manufacturing process quality. This includes managing the sprint calendar, enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring timely delivery across firmware, cloud, and hardware teams. You will break down roadmap items into actionable tasks, run regular standups and sprint reviews, and maintain a live delivery tracker for executive oversight. Identifying and escalating risks such as delays or resource gaps before they impact progress is critical.

Maintaining strict SOP compliance is essential. You will enforce engineering process standards including Git workflows, code reviews, firmware versioning, and PCB revision control. Every deliverable must have documented specifications, review records, and formal sign-offs. Regular audits will ensure process adherence, and you will coordinate closely with production supervisors to align engineering releases with manufacturing SOPs.

You will also work alongside the Production Supervisor to analyze the 10-stage assembly process, addressing root causes of non-conformance reports and driving design improvements to enhance manufacturability and testability. Supporting quality control and hardware engineers in refining test fixtures and procedures will be part of your remit, along with proposing measurable process improvements targeting cycle time, defect rates, and rework.

Your proficiency in 3D CAD tools (such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360) will support enclosure and casing design. You will review mechanical designs for fit, thermal management, cable routing, and serviceability, coordinating between hardware and mechanical teams. When necessary, you will create or modify basic 3D models and maintain a comprehensive library of design files and tooling notes.

As a team leader, you will manage individual contributor engineers through regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development. You will lead hiring efforts, including writing job descriptions, screening candidates, and coordinating technical interviews. Building a culture of documentation, peer review, and cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing is expected. Staffing decisions will be data-driven, based on delivery metrics.

You will provide weekly status reports to the CTO, translating product priorities into realistic engineering commitments. Representing engineering and manufacturing in cross-functional meetings and flagging risks related to cost, timeline, or quality will be part of your responsibilities.

- 1 to 4 years of experience in engineering management, technical program management, or senior technical delivery roles
- Solid understanding of electrical and computer engineering fundamentals sufficient to coordinate firmware, embedded systems, and cloud/backend teams
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional technical teams and meet delivery deadlines
- Practical experience with 3D CAD tools for mechanical/enclosure design review
- Experience working with or managing manufacturing or production operations, or strong operational process discipline
- Strong documentation skills and ability to enforce process compliance
- Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Background in hardware, electronics, or IoT product companies combining manufacturing and software/cloud components
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S or Kaizen
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering
- Experience in startups or early-stage hardware companies where processes were established from scratch

This is a full-time, permanent, office-based position offering a starting salary range of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 120,000 per month, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include company-maintained accommodation (if required), fuel allowance, emergency health coverage after one year, paid annual leave, Employee Old Age Benefit Contribution (EOBI), and a transparent, healthy work environment.
