Mechatronix Solutions, a rapidly growing company specializing in security and automation solutions, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join its dedicated team in Islamabad. The successful candidate will focus on designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems used in security products such as Road Blockers, Tire Killers, Barriers, and Turnstiles. This full-time on-site role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and machine design, proficiency in computer-aided design software, and excellent problem-solving abilities. The engineer will collaborate closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure timely product development and support production accuracy while maintaining high standards of quality and durability.
This role requires an adaptable engineer with 1-2 years of experience who is willing to learn continuously and contribute to the companys research and development efforts. The ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences is essential. Candidates must hold at least a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and demonstrate attention to detail by producing precise, high-quality work under tight deadlines. While this position does not involve team management responsibilities, effective collaboration and independent problem resolution skills are key to success at Mechatronix Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and systems for security and automation products using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and related software.
- Develop 3D models and perform finite element analysis (FEA) to validate designs for strength, durability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and technicians to support prototype development, testing, and product refinement.
- Conduct research and development activities to innovate new mechanical solutions and improve existing designs.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and drawings to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Manage product lifecycle through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to ensure version control and traceability.
- Troubleshoot design issues during production and provide timely solutions to maintain product quality and delivery schedules.
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project objectives and progress.
- Work independently on assigned projects while effectively prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Participate in continuous learning and skills development to remain current with the latest mechanical engineering trends and technologies.
- Support quality assurance efforts by verifying that prototype and final products meet design specifications and safety standards.
- Assist in the coordination of onsite installation and maintenance of mechanical systems as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures rigorously to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
