• Building and maintaining relationships with the community, Initiating contacts, identifying potential likeminded members of the community.
  • Facilitating the community involvement in designing and contextualization of program activities through meetings, FGDs and workshops.
  • Initiating and contributing the fostering of linkages with local communities, promoting cooperation, collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and community volunteers to ensure a coordinated response to GBV survivors’ needs.
  • Mobilizing and organizing communities for awareness raising sessions, behavior change campaign trainings and capacity building initiative on the topics, info about available WGSS services, and ensuring community participation in meetings and awareness sessions.
  • Conduct meetings with existing village health committees (VHCs) in the locality of WGSS to engage its members in project interventions and contribute in strengthening community and WGSS coordination to ensure safe access to WGSS for women and girls.
  • Contribute in Providing information and education on mental health resilient practices, primary healthcare practices, and MNCH to community members.
  • Contributing in establishing and managing a referral pathway between WGSS and external service providers.
  • Documenting community feedback, challenges, and successes to inform WGSS programming.
  • Submitting regular reports on mobilization activities, participation trends, develop case studies, success stories and project outcome.
  • Maintaining accurate records of community mobilization efforts and other capacity building and awareness raising events on subject topics.
  • Facilitating management in minor supplies and equipment needed for activities.
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
