SCOPE OF WORK:
Medecins Du Monde MDM is seeking a short-term consultant to provide a basic obstetric ultrasound training using the portable ultrasound machine for medical officers working in the mobile clinics. Improving the obstetric ultrasound skills will enhance the ability to determine gestational age, detect fetal abnormalities and identify fatal growth issues, ultimately contributing to improved antenatal (AN) care. The consultant/firm will have to work closely with the Medecins du monde MDM focal point (Medical Coordinator) to design and deliver a basic obstetric ultrasound training program for medical staff working in the field. The training is tentatively scheduled in July 2025. Specific tasks include:
