Medical Affairs Manager Anti Infectives

You will lead medical affairs activities focused on anti-infectives in Pakistan, collaborating closely with medical, commercial, regulatory, and research teams to develop local medical strategies and facilitate scientific exchange with healthcare professionals. This role emphasizes clinical curiosity, clear scientific communication, and collaborative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities
Provide trusted medical and scientific support for anti-infective therapies to internal teams and external healthcare professionals. Develop and implement annual medical plans that align with business objectives and patient needs. Organize and execute local medical engagement activities such as advisory boards, scientific meetings, speaker interactions, and congress support. Ensure all medical activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards. Collect and communicate actionable medical insights from the field to internal stakeholders. Lead or assist in local evidence generation initiatives, including investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence projects. Translate clinical data into clear, relevant medical education and scientific content tailored for diverse audiences. Build and maintain strong relationships with key external experts, clinicians, and scientific societies. Provide medical input into cross-functional planning, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications
MBBS degree is mandatory. A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Medical Affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, or a related field is required. Strong clinical knowledge of infectious diseases and anti-infective therapies is essential. Demonstrated experience engaging with healthcare professionals and establishing trusted scientific relationships. Proven ability to interpret and present clinical data clearly, both verbally and in writing. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple activities within deadlines. Experience in designing or managing local clinical research or investigator-initiated studies. A track record of publications, congress presentations, or leadership roles in scientific forums. Experience working in cross-functional teams involving commercial, regulatory, and access colleagues. Familiarity with medical compliance frameworks and standards governing interactions with healthcare professionals. Prior experience within the Pakistan healthcare environment or regional anti-infectives sector is preferred. A patient-centered mindset with a commitment to improving clinical care.
