Medical Affairs Manager Anti Infectives

You will lead medical affairs activities focused on anti-infectives within Pakistan, collaborating closely with medical, commercial, regulatory, and research teams to shape the local medical strategy. Your role will involve delivering scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, emphasizing clinical curiosity, clear scientific communication, and collaborative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities

Provide trusted medical and scientific support for anti-infective therapy areas to both internal teams and external healthcare professionals. Develop and implement annual medical plans that align with business objectives and patient needs. Plan and execute local medical engagement activities such as advisory boards, scientific meetings, speaker interactions, and congress support. Ensure all medical activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards. Collect and communicate actionable medical insights from the field to internal stakeholders. Lead or support local evidence generation initiatives, including investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence projects. Translate clinical data into clear, relevant medical education and scientific content tailored to diverse audiences. Build and maintain strong relationships with key external experts, clinicians, and scientific societies. Provide medical input to cross-functional planning, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

MBBS degree is mandatory for this role. A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Medical Affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, or a related field is required. Strong clinical knowledge of infectious diseases and anti-infective therapies is essential. Proven experience engaging with healthcare professionals and establishing trusted scientific relationships. Demonstrated ability to interpret and present clinical data clearly, both verbally and in writing. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple activities on time. Experience in designing or managing local clinical research or investigator-initiated studies. A history of publications, congress presentations, or leadership roles in scientific forums. Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams, including commercial, regulatory, and access colleagues. Familiarity with medical compliance frameworks and standards governing interactions with healthcare professionals. Prior experience in the Pakistan healthcare environment or regional anti-infectives experience is highly desirable. A patient-centered mindset with a commitment to improving clinical care. Clear and concise communication skills that make complex scientific information accessible. A collaborative approach with respect for colleagues and external partners. Strong ethical judgment and adherence to compliance and transparency standards.
