Medical Billing Executive – Chakwal Office -MED AI

MED AI, a sister company of Sequel Technologies located in Chakwal, is seeking a Medical Billing Executive to join their team. This role involves managing medical billing processes specifically for US healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will preferably have family ties to Chakwal or nearby areas to facilitate daily commuting. The position requires working onsite at the Bhoun Road office with specific shift timings that vary seasonally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Submit medical claims to insurance companies accurately and timely.
- Review patient bills thoroughly before submission to ensure correctness.
- Verify insurance details to confirm coverage and eligibility.
- Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims to resolve outstanding issues.
- Post payments and update records in the billing system.
- Communicate with insurance companies to check claim statuses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and fix billing discrepancies.
- Prepare claim appeals when necessary to recover denied payments.
- Generate simple reports related to billing activities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient data in compliance with privacy regulations.

Required Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of medical coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS.
- Experience working with billing or Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with insurance companies and internal staff.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in billing and claims processing.
- Proficiency in basic Excel and general computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Candidates who have family residing in Chakwal or nearby areas are preferred to ensure reliable daily commuting. The role requires availability to work from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM during summer months and 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM in winter.
